Aroma: Lovely caramelized wheat and brown sugar sweetness that reminds of a delicious spiced upside down cake drizzled with caramels and crystalized sugar on berries. More notes of vanilla, pastry cream and almost a fruity cola note round out with a touch of dark spice and malt syrup.
Taste: Warm, viscous, and fantastic sweet cream vanilla with touches of fruit like a berry laced vanilla custard. The sweetness is creamy with an oily mouthfeel that has more depth and proof with touches of oak, and brown sugar. Reminds us of a fresh vanilla layered cheesecake with a lightly burnt caramel drizzle. It's coating, silky, and warming that keeps asking for more sips.
Finish: A wonderful long finish that is complex, rich, with a classic wheated profile of vanilla, caramel and berries. An excellent reminder of some of the best wheated (perhaps better) than most with its extra body that's more cereal forward with more sweetness that has the right touches of oak, caramel, baking spices.
