We’re super excited to announce this limited release and how fantastic this 15yr private barrel is. We were pretty surprised by this one so we knew we had to get it. We've also tasted quite a few Pinot Noir finished and this might be one of the best we've ever tasted.

Aroma: An amazing nose that is buttery, bright, fruity, and a full onslaught of sweetness with beautiful hints of berries, caramels and nougat. There’s more aromas of slight maple, and touches of toffee. It’s a fantastic nose that’s different from the others we've had in a great way, as it opens up a lot more fully with some oak, and really pleasant complex and sweet wine fruits.

Taste: Man at first this is just a brilliantly finished product! We loved this right out of the gate with its complexity and fullness. There’s so much buttery goodness going on with berries, cream, honey, and loaded up on the back with creamy vanilla and toffee. It’s a much more silky mouthfeel than we remember from other pinot finishes, and seems to balance out extremely well with more creamy butterscotch, brown sugars, and sweet dark jams. An amazing all around complexity that just fully coats the entire mouth!

Finish: There’s a really long long finish on this one that just surprises you with its delicate sweetness and completeness. It's bold, sweet and inviting that has very nice composition and some heat that is mellowed out with the sweetness from caramel, berries, vanilla, and soft tannins. It’s a beautiful dram that’s worthy, and for 15 years + it's a no brainer!
